About Reflexology

What Is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient therapy that was practiced by the early Egyptians and later evolved into modern reflexology through the work of Dr. William Fitzgerald and Eunice Ingham.

Reflexology techniques and varying pressure is used to stimulate reflex points on the hands, feet and face that are mapped to different areas of the body. As Reflexologists, we believe that working these reflexes, can provide a therapeutic effect to the related organs and glands in the body.

Reflexology can help increase circulation of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, eliminate toxins and calm the nervous system by initiating deep relaxation.

Finally, the body’s healing process can be stimulated through reflexology to restore natural balance and promote greater physical and emotional well-being.
